Helen,
I'd met you at a few parties in Aberdeen. You were much younger than me, braces still on your
teeth. Sometimes talking TOO much, especially when drunk! But THEN weren't we all!! But ALWAYS
appealing, always kind and drawing people to you. Didn't really know you so well until we went to
Prague for a joint stag/hen weekend. We were roomies for about 48 hours and I could not have had a
better roomate! As bronchitis bridesmaid I did not feel like going out and partying for the
weekend, but YOU pulled me through. You looked after me so well!!

I know we were not very close, but when Simon called to tell me that you were missing my heart still
skipped a beat and the hairs stood up on the back of my neck. I wept for the first time in a long
time when it was confirmed.

I think of you often, not just on the 7/7 every year, but when I her some piece of music or someone
says something that triggers a memory.

I was never very religious, but your faith was strong enough for all of us, just in case we got it
wrong!

You were an exceptional lady and I still miss you very much!
